Rachel Mannion, founder of GuidedGut

About

Hello friend, I’m Rachel

GuidedGut isn’t a brand. It’s simply a place to dig deeper into iron deficiency anemia, SIBO, gut dysbiosis, and mold illness, and to share the tools and information I wish I’d had during my own recovery.

Recovery can be confusing and expensive, but I am here to help you.

Questions you might have

What is GuidedGut?

A place for everyone dealing with GI-MAP results, gut dysbiosis, SIBO, mold illness, low ferritin, and related recovery questions. I share what I’ve learned from my own experience, along with peer-reviewed studies, practical diet notes, tested brand and product preferences, and current lower cost lab options so you can make more informed decisions on your own journey.

Are you a doctor?

No, I am not a doctor. I’m someone who has been navigating recovery without insurance. When I could no longer afford my naturopath, I started managing my own GI-MAP results and diet. GuidedGut is simply the notes and resources I wish I’d had. It isn’t medical advice, a lab, or a substitute for a clinician. Please make testing decisions with your practitioner.

How is GuidedGut funded?

I’m funding it myself right now. Don't worry, lab tables stay sorted by price and never by commission. I hope one day affiliate links and the newsletter will help support this passion project.

How do you check prices?

Every price is dated and sourced. See how I check prices.
